Under the project Green Periods our club distributed 120000 biodegradable sanitary napkins to the girls and females across Baramati. Students in Municipal schools, Asha workers, girls living in hostels in Baramati and the periphary , Municipal Corporation workers like sweepers and peons in government offices , Anganwadi Sevika and staff ,Bachat Gat altogether 20000 females were the beneficiaries. The biodegradable napkins are made by a unit run by females in Baramati. The motto of our club was of women empowerment.
