**Title: Rotary Club of Baramati Organizes Health Initiative for Maternal and Environmental Wellness** On **18th September 2024**, the **Rotary Club of Baramati** in collaboration with the **Rotary E Club of Pune Diamond** hosted a significant event at **Adhiraj Lawns, Phaltan Road, Baramati**, focusing on **Maternal and Child Health** and environmental sustainability. The initiative featured two key projects: **Project Asha Ek Kiran** and **Green Periods**, both aimed at bridging the gap between the community and government healthcare systems. The event ran from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, providing essential information, empowerment, and training to attendees. Under **Project Asha Ek Kiran**, directed by **Rtn. Shobha Nahar** and chaired by **Rtn. The event provided critical education to enhance the quality of maternal care in the community. In addition to maternal health, the event also focused on environmental sustainability through the **Green Periods** initiative. Led by **Rtn. Vasantrao Malunjkar**, Director of Environment, and **Rtn. Neena Raisoni**, Chairman of Green Periods, the project aimed to promote sustainable menstrual hygiene practices. With the coordination of **Rtn. Prakash Suthar**, the sessions advocated for eco-friendly menstrual products, thereby promoting both women's health and environmental conservation.
