On 6th July 2024, the Rotary Club of Baramati organized the "Swachh Wari, Nirmal Wari" initiative during the Shri Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi procession. This event played a pivotal role in promoting cleanliness and environmental consciousness among the Varkari community, who participate in the traditional pilgrimage. By placing trash collection boxes along the route, the Rotary Club encouraged thousands of devotees to dispose of waste responsibly, ensuring that the sacred pilgrimage path remains clean and litter-free.
